After Rebekah Allen and her college sweetheart got married, they found themselves with a lot of student loan debt and quite unprepared financially to start a life together. Even though they had taken many classes throughout college and graduate school for her husband, there wasn’t one class that taught basic financial literacy and how to get ahead now that they were in “the real world”. They went to a financial advisor who, after reviewing their situation, basically told them that they had too much debt and weren’t making enough money so he couldn’t help them. This colored the way Rebekah saw the financial industry, that most advisors were only looking to help those who were already wealthy.
Years later when Rebekah got the opportunity to get into the financial services industry, she made it a priority to work with people no matter where they were on their financial journey. Everyone deserves the same care and guidance regardless of the number of zeros in their bank account. For the last decade, she’s spent time breaking down financial concepts in ways that are easy to understand, and working with clients to develop and implement an investment plan that is designed to address their individual situation.
